When we started our coworking space in NYC we had no idea that we were becoming part of a global movement. 

The tight-knit local communities that are being built by the best coworking spaces around the world is what makes this industry special for freelancers, startup teams, and remote worker that can't be matched by any other type of workplace. 

GCUC (pronounced juicy) is a Coworking conference being held in Montreal this week. The conference is for coworking spaces to come together to share ideas and learn about the latest trends.

GCUC is the major annual Coworking Conference in the United States. They started in Austin, Texas but now move every year to explore Coworking in different cities. GCUC is looking to advance the coworking movement, inspire, delight and keep things interesting. They change up the format each year based on their thorough survey results after each event.

Here are the coworking leaders that will be in Montreal this week. 

Adam Field, Co-Founder & CPO at Meshwork - Denver, CO

An entrepreneur at his core. From the time he built his first website for his family business up until his current role as Chief Product Officer of Meshwork, Adam has been fascinated by what can be achieved as an entrepreneur. 

His passion for coworking has been a continuous evolution of different roles he has played in the projects of which he has been a part of.

Charlotte Kirby, Founder at The Village - Markham, ON

The Village Hive, located in the beautiful Olde School House in Markham Village, is joining the coworking movement. A welcoming place for entrepreneurs, freelancers, and all types of people with workplace flexibility to come together for networking, collaboration, and health & wellness. 

Elaine McPherson, Founder at e=mc2 - Canmore, AB
