We wanted to even the playing field from Fortune 500 companies to early stage startups and see who has been performing the best regardless of size or industry over the last year.

#7 Heather Marie, Founder at Shoppable

Heather Marie is the Founder and CEO of Shoppable, a software technology company enabling a shoppable layer across digital content and a cloud-based platform enabling mass product distribution for merchants and brands to tens of millions of consumers. 

Heather won the 2013 Women in Digital Award from L’Oreal and was named one of the ten “Most Powerful Millennials in Manhattan” by Gotham Magazine and one of the eleven “Tech Gurus Changing the Luxury Game” by Refinery29. 

Shoppable was a 2014 Webby Award Honoree for “Online Shopping” and named one of the “100 Brilliant Companies” by Entrepreneur Magazine.

Before founding Shoppable, Heather was on the founding team at Affinity Labs, a digital media company that became the largest collection of online professional communities. 

While at Affinity Labs she played a critical role in their sales efforts and lead the company display advertising and lead generation sales and business development from the ground up to profitability. 

She launched her first "venture" at age eleven, an arbitrage business on eBay. 

#6 Anu Duggal, Founding Partner at F Cubed

Anu is the Founding Partner of F Cubed, an early-stage fund investing in female-founded technology companies.

Before launching F Cubed, Anu was CEO of Doonya for two years where she scaled the business nationally, raised an initial round of growth capital and created a business development strategy positioning the company as "ZUMBA 2.0."

In 2010, Anu Co-Founded, a private sale e-commerce site (similar to GILT Group) focused on bringing the best of South Asian fashion, jewelry and home decor to the global audience. 

Within a year of the company's May 2011 launch, the company raised $16M in venture funding.

Prior to, Anu Co-Founded The Tasting Room, India's first luxury wine bar, in 2005 with Rajeev Samant, CEO of Sula Wines. Throughout her professional career, she has been an active angel investor, supporting women entrepreneurs in both in the U.S. and India.

#5 Anda Gansca, CEO & Co-Founder at Knotch

Anda Gansca is the Co-Founder and CEO of Knotch, a company revolutionizing the content marketing measurement space.  

Anda was born and raised in Transylvania and moved to the US to attend Stanford University where she earned a double major in Economics and International Relations. 

While at Stanford, Anda developed a passion for data analysis while also starting and growing three international non-profit initiatives. 

In 2012, Anda combined her passions for data analysis and building beautiful end user experiences to start Knotch. In 2015, Knotch was named one of the top marketing tech startups in the world by Cannes Lions & Unilever Foundry. Anda also advises early stage startups on fundraising, product, and hiring. Also serving as a mentor and judge for the Stanford incubator, StartX. She was recognized by INC as 30 under 30 in 2015 and Forbes as 30 under 30 in 2016.

#4 Tanya Menendez, Co-Founder & CMO at Maker's Row

Tanya Menendez is the Co-Founder and CMO of Maker’s Row. She quit her job at Goldman Sachs to join Matthew Burnett on his leather goods line, all produced in NYC. The products were distributed within boutiques and department stores, including Nordstrom and Henri Bendel.

After partnering with Matthew and experiencing the pains of an outdated sourcing process, she had the idea to create a platform where entrepreneurs could connect with American manufacturers. 

This grew to become Maker’s Row, which has been helping entrepreneurs and designers get their projects produced since 2013, with over 100K businesses using the platform. 

Maker’s Row has raised over $2.5M in venture capital. In 2015, Tanya was included in Forbes’ 30 Under  and has been named Business Insider’s Coolest People in Tech and one of PopMechanic’s 25 Makers Who Reinvent the American Dream.

#3 Katia Beauchamp, Co-Founder & CEO At Birchbox

Katia began her career as an entrepreneur after graduating from Harvard Business School in 2010, where she met Hayley Barna, her Birchbox Co-founder.

Their connection grew into friendship and the pair’s collaborative idea for Birchbox inspired the company’s debut in September 2010.

Before founding Birchbox, Katia worked in structured finance and commercial real estate for three years.
