APRIL 2ND
Sprung! has always been the rebellious, little sister to Grovetoberfest, bringing a more free-spirited approach to some serious beer tasting of over 300 craft beers. Besides the new location, Sprung! has made the date more in line with the Spring and Summer seasonal beers. Beer enthusiasts will also be treated to a selection not available in South Florida, and in keeping with tradition, the homebrew section will showcase brews created by locals who are passionate about their beer. Aficionados know to keep an eye on homebrew participants, because more often than not, they end up opening a brewery of their own.
APRIL 2ND
The Miami Riverday Festival, a daylong event dedicated to the history and culture of the city’s winding waterway. The festival will feature free river tours via boat, live music, paddleboard and kayak races, historic reenactments, environmental education, kids’ activities, food, drinks, and other diversions. APRIL 3RD
Barbecue season kicks off with a family friendly festival in the heart of Wynwood that will tempt your taste buds with all kinds of wonderful BBQ. Whether you’re craving churrasco, Memphis, Texas or Kansas City barbecue Grillin N’ Chillin will have it all.
With live music being played on stage, kids will have a blast in the Family Fun Zone, and the adults can enjoy drinks in The Pit, a pop- up sports bar. Get smoked in the Kitchen Lab by the best in the biz, who will share tips and tricks for the BBQ master in all of us.

The 2016 South Beach Triathlon, produced and presented by Life Time and part of the 11-race Life Time Tri Series, is returning on Sunday, April 3 with the gorgeous backdrop of the Atlantic Ocean and Miami Beach’s Art Deco district. The race serves as a fundraiser for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, which is leading the way the world understands, treats and defeats childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases. The South Beach Triathlon has raised more than $1.5 million for the kids of St. Jude.
