I love The Farm. I began a multi-year, very intensive writing project at The Farm 9 years ago and have had to make (very) liberal use of the facilities during that process. The aesthetic is similar to my own decorating style, which sets a comfortable tone in which to write. With every visit, I see a new accent, accessory, flourish that makes me smile as it reflects the owners’ care and willingness to share their hearts with all of Us. The owners and staff have always been kind, gracious and fair with me - despite my many “failings”. I am (finally) at the end of my work, and I could have gone to any number of places in NYC to complete my final rewrite so but such a prospect is unconscionable to me.
